Dr Cathy Wiering
(BDS)
Principal Dentist
Dr Cathy Wiering is the principal dentist and owner of Hampstead Dental Practice. With over 15 years of experience, Dr Cathy is a gentle and caring dentist who enjoys working with patients to achieve optimal dental health and improve aesthetics as desired. Using porcelain and resin veneers or Invisalign to enhance the appearance of a patient’s teeth is an area of special interest to her. She has been privileged to work with many patients where changing their smile has made a large impact on their lives. With three primary school aged children she is passionate about young smiles and giving kids a great start to a healthy mouth.
Dr Cathy was born and raised in the North Eastern suburbs of Adelaide and still lives locally with her husband and kids. They are passionate about being involved in their local community and most weekends will see them supporting their children’s basketball teams at the Lights Community Centre and attending Church as a family. They also love getting outdoors; exploring and camping when they get a free weekend or during school holidays.
Dr Simranjot Kaur
(BDS, ADC)
General Dentist
Dr Simran graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and practiced dentistry for many years before moving to Australia.
Simran completed the Australian Dental Council Examination and has been part of our team since 2015.
She in interested in all aspects of general dentistry, and particularly enjoys preventative and restorative dentistry. She is passionate about looking after her patients and creating a warm and caring environment in which to carry out their dental treatment.
In her spare time, Simran like reading, travelling and spending time with her family.
Dr Simran is fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi.
Dr Jenny Tan
(BDS, BScDent (Hons))
General Dentist
Dr Jenny Tan graduated from the University of Adelaide with honours and has since worked across Melbourne and Adelaide in private dental clinics and special needs clinics in tertiary hospitals. She takes a kind and gentle approach, and hopes to help you feel comfortable at the dentist. She has a special interest in caring for people with special needs including complex health issues and disabilities, and people who are anxious about coming to the dentist. She believes that everyone should have the opportunity to access the care they need for their oral health, and loves to work collaboratively with her patients to achieve their goals.
Outside of dentistry, Jenny enjoys pilates, travelling, and spending time with her two bunny rabbits.
